I started my day having breakfast with the bride at Cracker Barrel and Joshua started his going antiquing with the groom. These aren’t usual parts of a wedding day, but they were essential to this wedding!
Afterwards we regrouped and got into preparation mode. The venue was Jake’s Aunt’s “River House” Venue in Vicksburg, MS. It was beautiful and allowed us to capture stunning photos of the bride and her preperations.
Tia’s is one of the most stunning brides I have ever seen!! Her dress was to die for and everything about her and this day was BEAUTIFUL!!! Jake is a lucky man and they are a perfect match.
Before the ceremony Tia & mother prayed for and with each other in a beautiful and emotional moment. Then, she shared a first look with her father before he walked her down the aisle. Le look on his face as he first saw her was priceless.
Their ceremony was at sunset and Jake and Tia led a beautiful praise and worship session before they made their journey as husband and wife official. You could feel the faith these two share in God and each other. There were quite a few misty eyes in eyes in the crowd.
The sun set, and Jake kissed his bride. They jumped a beautifully decorated broom Tia’s family provided and we moved to the back of “The River House” for a reception on the bank of the Mississippi River.
